Junior Cert Awards Night

Tonight we had our awards ceremony for all those who got A's in the junior cert exams.  It was on in the Amber Springs Hotel in Gorey. To be honest I think they should have rewarded anyone who did well in general, because someone who could have gotten all B's could have done better than someone who got one A and the rest C's. But I was glad to be meeting up with my friends anyway and it was fun. It didn't take them long to hand out all the awards, I hadn't realized how well people had done/ I got three awards for geography, home economics and art. I felt bad because I had to step over peoples feet each time to get my award, but they kindly smiled anyway as I stood on their toes. After we all got our awards we got to all talk and congratulate each other. There were tea's and coffee's and suprisingly nice juice. I had lots of fun, but I wish more of my friends could have been there.
